Migdalia, a recent newcomer to Canada from Columbia, recently invited our Energy Mentor Clarence to visit her home and help her to improve her energy efficiency.

During the home visit, Migdalia was most interested in learning how to use her thermostat. She was nervous to touch it as her landlord had told her to set it at a certain temperature. Clarence was able to teach her how to use her thermostat and told her the recommended temperatures for the home. Migdalia realized how easy this was and is now confident in adjusting the temperature in her home.

Migdalia and her family were very happy to learn about ways to save energy and now feel much more comfortable in their home.
